Membership at Sanctuary
Throughout Scripture, God intends for His people to live in community (Hebrews 10:24-25). In the New Testament, Christ followers lived in community with each other (Acts 2:46-47, 4:32). The church functions as a connected body with each part playing a significant role (Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-31). At Sanctuary, we believe that the local church is the hope of the world. In a culture of consumerism, God is calling His people to be committed members of a community of believers they can call family. It is our desire to function as a family, and we invite you to be a part of our Sanctuary Faith Family.

As a member of the Sanctuary Faith Family, we ask each member to affirm the covenant outlined below. Recognizing this is a partnership, our covenant calls for a commitment from you, and defines Sanctuary’s commitment to you. This covenant is built around Sanctuary’s purpose statement, which says,

“Sanctuary’s purpose is to glorify God by building an authentic body of Christ followers who are faithfully proclaiming the Gospel and being transformed by its power to live and love like Jesus.”

Once you are ready to call Sanctuary home and you want to be a committed member of our Faith Family, we invite you to follow these simple steps to let us know you are ready to move forward in the membership process:

1) Provide your contact information
2) Affirm Sanctuary’s Belief Statements
3) Affirm Sanctuary’s Membership Covenant
4) Share about your journey
5) A Pastor or Elder will contact you to set up a time to complete the process.

Once these steps are complete, someone will contact you to complete the process. We are honored to have you a part of our Faith Family at Sanctuary!
