Our product:
Our goal is to create a device that would allow the water to go through a cleaning process that makes it safe for drinking. The first step of this would be desalination, where water evaporates onto a glass surface, and then the runoff falls into a separate container. The salt is left behind to be disposed of, and the freshwater carries on to the treatment process. This filter will remove contaminants from the water to then make it safe for drinking. When put into effect on a larger scale, we believe that something like this could be a possible solution for the water crisis locally and around the world.
