This is the vacancy application is for National UNITY Council (NUC) members who are interested in self nominating themselves for a vacant regional representative position on the NUC Executive Committee.  Members petitioning must be in good standings in order for their name to be on the ballot. Criteria for good standings is as follows:

Representatives of Youth Councils in Good standings:
-youth council constitution and bylaws submitted
-letter of resolution
-completed one project in the past year
-submit a yearly Youth council report
-must have served on the National UNITY Council for

Individuals in good standings:
-Letter of support from a tribal leader
-yearly report (community service completed within the year)

Good Standings:
 A UNITY Network youth council in good standing shall be a youth council that:
  -Has all required documentation on file in the UNITY office, and C. Has submitted the annual UNITY affiliate oral     or written report.
  - Be an American Indian, Alaska Native or Native Hawaiian,
  - Be at least 15 years of age at the start of his or her term, and will not have reached the age of 25 by the end of    his or her term.
