As you are all aware, Cyclone Garbrielle wreaked havoc throughout our Wairoa District, causing extensive damage to North Clyde and our A&P Showgrounds and facilities.
The last 7 months have seen a huge amount of work go on behind the scenes, with working bees, and obtaining funding to try and ready the grounds for January.

After the success of the 2023 Show, we were looking forward to going even bigger in 2024! However, the wet winter, and delays in insurance and land classifications has meant that we won’t be ready to hold an A&P Show at our grounds in January 2024.

It is a big decision not to hold a show at the showgrounds and one that was not taken lightly. We plan to use the next year to recover and rebuild, and return with a strong Wairoa A and P Show in January 2025.
