UNITY NEWS Communications Workshop
Learn how to become a multi-media digital storyteller!

Thanks to its partnership with Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, UNITY is excited to announce the UNITY News Communications Camp to be held prior to 2019 National UNITY Conference in Orlando, Florida at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Conference Center.

The UNITY News Bootcamp is one of two pre-National conference trainings being offered. The bootcamp will feature multi-media trainers and mentors (to be announced).

This two-day training will be held on Wednesday, July 3 starting at 2 pm and will continue on Thursday morning, July 4. The training is an intensive multi-media storytelling crash course for Native youth who have an interest in video production and wish to have their videos featured as part of UNITY News. Youth participants will be paired with mentors to produce videos for inclusion in UNITY News segments to be broadcast during the National UNITY conference.

Registration is limited to the first 25 youth who sign up. Participants must be registered for the 2019 National UNITY Conference.
