Playroom Volunteer Caregiver Application
The Children’s Playroom provides therapeutic childcare for children while their parents meet with counselors, attend workshops, or utilize other services offered by Safe & Sound. As a Volunteer Caregiver, you’ll help parents with young children receive the supportive services they need, and help children build valuable social and emotional skills. In order to provide  the highest quality experience for clients, Playroom personnel make it a top priority to build lasting  relationships with visiting children and their families and ensure positive, memorable  experiences. Playroom staff and volunteers do this by helping new families through separation anxiety,  participating in play scenarios, setting limits and providing structure and routine.
