The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is one of nine grant recipients selected by  EPA’s Wildfire Smoke Preparedness in Community Buildings Grant Program. This program provides outreach, education, and training for local community partners on how to prepare for and respond to the public health threat of wildfire smoke. The program focuses on the impact of wildfire smoke on indoor air quality, and how indoor environments such as community-use buildings can be designed to be cleaner air spaces for impacted communities.
