In Africa, 60% of the population is under 24 years old. By 2050, 35% of the world's youth will be African. Africa's demographics require massive and rapid job creation. By 2030, an estimated 30 million young people will enter the labour market each year, accounting for three quarters of the world's young people. This means doubling the number of jobs. It is therefore essential to make the labour market more dynamic, in particular by strengthening the employability of young people by directing training courses towards offers adapted to the needs of the labour market and towards the professions of the future. It is in this context that PLACE for Africa is committed to working with young people to facilitate their professional integration process. The Mogoya programme therefore offers young Africans personal coaching sessions, language courses and empowerment workshops. The project aims to promote self-confidence and support the professional development of young Africans.
