Our goal is to renovate the ZaRah into the first Black-owned holistic complex in Minnesota. We are taking the steps to convert our vacancies into cultural wellness spaces for black women who provide services in the health and wellness industry. Some of the businesses we would like to include are businesses in the space of massage and bodywork, chakra & other energy work, herbal & nutritional wellness, astrology & tarot, estheticians, infrared treatments, ionic foot soaks, eyebrow threading, maternal wellness, aromatherapy products, mental health services, and more! 

The ZaRah incubator will serve up to 7 businesses over the next 12 months, providing wrap-around support and service directly from BWWA and our partners. Businesses that are chosen for the ZaRah wellness space will have access to the following:

• BWWA's networks and resources
• One-to-one consultations/planning and operational support from our onsite business advisors
• Direct financial assistance
• Marketing support
• Operational support with systems, processes, and certifications as needed
• A customized approach to supporting the individual and business
• Affordable rental space
• And more!

Applications are now open from October 20th, 2022 through November 11th, 2022!

Businesses must have been in operation for one-year minimum, have an established brand identity, and be prepared to move into the space between December 2022-January 2023. Businesses that are selected will be notified in late November 2022.
