SHS Parking Permits Form

Please review the rules and regulations for parking at school and complete the form below. Money can be turned into the High School office. All checks can be made payable to “Sparta High School.” You will receive a parking pass that must go in the lower right hand corner of the windshield.


Students may drive to school and use the student parking lot, provided they follow driving regulations and requirements.

  1. The cost of a Parking Permit is $10.00 if purchased before Friday, September 25th. The cost will go up to $15 starting Monday, September 28th. This additional fee excludes anyone getting a new license or car throughout the school year. In order to receive a Parking Permit, you will need to show proof of: Legal Driver’s License, Updated Registration, and Insurance.

  2. All motor vehicles must be registered in the office. 

  3. The student will be issued a parking permit, which must be displayed in the lower right hand corner of the windshield.

  4. Students must park in the student lot and observe parking lines.  Students are not allowed to park on the street during school hours.

  5. After arriving at school, students must leave their cars and enter the school building with all school materials needed for that day.

  6. Students may not return to their car during school hours without permission from the main office.

  7. Students will lose their driving privileges for failing to comply with Sparta High School’s rules as well as any violation of State or Village driving regulations.

  8. The school assumes no responsibility for vehicles parked in the student lot.

  9. All students requesting to park their vehicles on school property must agree to the unlocking, opening and inspection of their vehicles when requested by school authorities or law enforcement agencies.

I have supplied all information accurately and have shown my driver’s license, proof of registration, and proof of insurance to this application.  I have read and understand the rules and agree to comply with them.
