South Metro Showtime is a Scout variety theatre production that brings together young people from across the South Metro Region to create something truly spectacular. Use this form to complete your application today.

✨ Who can be involved in South Metro Showtime

  • Backstage Crew / Tech: Those interested in lighting, sound, sets, costumes, makeup, stage crew, or technical production. Must be at least 15 years old to apply.

  • Support & Wellbeing Team: Be part of the group that helps care for our cast and crew during rehearsals and at the theatre. This includes assisting with wellbeing, supervision, first aid, and creating a supportive and safe environment for everyone.  Must be over 18 years old to apply. 

  • Parents & Supporters: Parents and Leaders can get involved by assisting us with fundraising events, catering in between shows and much more! 

📅 Key Details:

  • Rehearsals run weekly in the lead-up to the show (from April 2026), different departments may have different schedules.

  • Dress Rehearsals & Performances will be held at The Drum Theatre from 22nd - 30th August.

  • Commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm are essential!
