Our Farm:
Regather Farm is our 15 acre organic farm in the Moss Valley, bordered by ancient woodland. We use principles from regenerative agriculture and are working to restore the soils and protect biodiversity on our site. We grow lots of different veg in lots of different ways!
Getting there
The farm is located on . Cycling is certainly doable though its a good climb to get here and an exciting ride downhill on the way home. You can get buses to near Lightwood roundabout followed by a 25 minute walk. We have car parking spaces as well. We can offer some funds to cover travel expenses upon request.
Facilities
We've got compost toilets on site with handwashing facilities. We have running well water, but it is NOT FIT FOR DRINKING.
Volunteering
Volunteering starts at 10am and we usually break for lunch by 12:30, and start packing up for the day around 3pm. Work is varied, hopefully" Jobs range from tending plants to various maintenance projects. Please let us know if there are any tasks you'd rather skip and we can find other jobs for you to do.
What to bring
- Work gloves if you have them, but we do have some spares.
- Stout/waterproof footwear is important.
- Waterproofs, sunhat and suncream are all potentially important to bring to protect you from variable weather.
- Lunch - you'll need to bring your own lunch.
- Drinking water. We don't have any running drinking water on site so bring all the drinking
water you need for the day.
