The Master Gardener program is an incredible opportunity to build your gardening knowledge, meet like-minded folks, share your love of gardening with your community, and help build the Lee County Cooperative Extension's Horticulture program.
The new horticulture agent, Amanda Wilkins, has been polling the community and asking around, and there is a lot of interest in a new Master Gardener class (it has been MANY years since there was a new class in Lee County)! The next step is to make sure everyone is on the same page about what the Master Gardener program is (and is not!), what the program requirements are, and what the commitment looks like. If it sounds good to you, we'll have applications for you to fill out and we'll start the class schedule.
Please email Amanda Wilkins (email@example.com) if you have any additional questions before the meeting. There is potential for a Zoom option for this meeting.
