Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) Application - Fall 2018
The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) is a 10-week experiential, conversational seminar for students looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms.

We will have two cohorts this fall- one focused on Life’s Big Questions and the second called "Jews and the Stories We Tell". Both cohorts will meet Wednesday nights. Life’s Big Questions will meet at Silverstein Base Hillel in Lincoln Park, and will be led by Charles and Hannah! Jews and the Stories We Tell will meet at Silverstein Base Hillel in the Loop, and will be led by Rav Ezra and Evan!

What you give: A weekly commitment of your time, an open mind, a hunger to learn

What you’ll get: A new great group of friends, engaging lessons and discussions, group dinners with delicious food, a generous stipend for your time

Attendance is required at all JLF sessions to receive the stipend, but we understand that most students will have to miss one session for scheduled school breaks.

Session dates for Fall 2018: Sept. 26th, Oct. 3rd, Oct. 10th, Oct. 17th, Oct. 24th, Oct. 31st, Nov. 7th, Nov. 14th, Nov. 28th. Sessions begin with dinner at 6:00pm and finish at 8:30pm. Each cohort will also have the opportunity to celebrate Shabbat together with a dinner on October 26th!

If you have questions or are interested in learning more about JLF, please contact Hannah (hannah@metrochicagohillel.org).
