A community group are raising funds to purchase the Amulet Theatre and reopen it as a multi-purpose community hub.

Phase One will be to purchase the building. An application to the government's Levelling Up Culture Fund has been made. Other funds will be from donations, trusts and charities. Everyone will be able to buy shares in the project this autumn and will then have a say in how it is run.
Phase Two will be to carry out repairs & refurbishment. The building will then be opened in stages for community use.
Full refurbishment will take place over a number of years, and be dependent on the availability of funding.
