2025-2026 Secondary GT Testing Referral
This form is for referring RISD secondary (middle school, junior high, and high school) students only.

Secondary students in RISD may test once per year to determine if they qualify for GT courses in middle school, junior high, or high school.  Students who are referred between August 1, 2025 and January 15, 2026 will be tested during the district’s winter testing window at the end of January/beginning of February 2026.  Students who are referred after January 15, 2025 will test in June or July of 2026. 

Results from each of these test administrations will be shared with families and campuses in the spring of 2026 for potential GT course placement in the 2026-2027 school year.

Advanced Learning Programs & Services will contact you to arrange logistics as the appropriate test administration window approaches.
