Studio Release:
I, the parent/guardian, have read the studio policies, dress codes, and payment policies and understand them fully.  I
understand that DCT Company is not responsible for lost or stolen items, or any injury incurred on the premises.  I
understand that the waiting room area at DCT is a privilege for my child and will stress that they are to clean up any
mess prior to leaving the area.  All photos taken at DCT and of DCT students in a DCT sponsored setting that is
used on any form of social media is required to be tagged as “DCT”, “DCT Company”, and or “#dctcompany” in the
photo or on the photo.  I will not wear street shoes on the dance floor or I will be subjected to an additional cleaning
fee.  In signing this, I am stating that I will not bash DCT or affiliates of DCT on any forms of social media as well
as any online degrading or I will be liable for a civil suit.  I also agree to not discussing my agreements with Miss
Katie with any other patron.  I agree to make all payments in a timely manner, or I will incur late fees of $25.00 per
month that payment is late.  I understand that I am responsible for making full payments for each month from
September to June, even if my child misses a class or classes.  Any balance carried over from a previous year will be subjected to a 20% interest fee on the total balance due per month billed on the 15th of each month. Any balance held post season (after June 1st, 2026) will be subjected to a 25% interest fee on the total balance due monthly billed on the 15th of each month.  In regards to a private lesson, the lesson must be
cancelled within a timely fashion or I will pay for the missed lesson.  If it is missed the instructor and I can discuss a
make up lesson.  I also understand that my child will not receive his/her recital costumes until they have been paid in
full and tuition is paid up to that date.  I will pay all money due to DCT Company by May 31, 2026 or my child will
not participate in the dance recital.  After my costume has been ordered, if I do not continue with class there will be a $25 restocking fee. Any outstanding balance not paid when due will be sent to a collection agency.
I agree to be responsible for all collection costs and/or reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in the collection of these
amounts. I also understand COVID is an ongoing risk and I will not send my child to the studio when they are
exhibiting symptoms. I also understand that if I sign up for classes, certain shoes are expected to be worn for these classes.

Competition Group Release:
I understand that as a parent/guardian of a competition student there are additional fees and opportunities that may
apply.  I understand that a group competition fee is to be paid prior to any solo fee.  I also understand that
competition fees are due the first of the month prior to the competition.  For example, if there is a competition
January 15 th , the competition fee is due December 1 st .  I understand that solo costumes are to be paid in full when
costume deposits are due.  I understand that the initial dance costume deposits are due October 2024.  I understand
that cheerleading uniform deposits are due October 30, 2025.  I understand that there will be “potential competition
fees” out by December so you all can plan accordingly.  I understand that all of my competition performances will
be performed at the June recital.  I understand that it is an expectation to be in all studio group pictures on picture
day unless extreme circumstances,  I understand that ALL team competition wear (including by not limited to;
shoes, tights, hair pieces, jewelry, makeup and etc.) will be purchased through the studio and the orders will need to
be placed and paid one month prior to competition to ensure timely arrival.  I also understand that my child is
expected to act in a respectful and orderly manner, if attitude or behavior becomes an issue they will be asked to
leave the team.  I, as a parent/guardian of a competition student, understand that I will act in a respective, orderly,
and supportive manner or my child may be asked to leave the team.  I also understand that being a part of a
competition team is a privilege, and is not a guarantee.  The number of possible competitions that we may or may
not be attending is based on a studio/teacher/parent/ student basis and is not guaranteed.  Once teams/routines are
determined there will be paperwork stating possible competition dates and fees.  If you quit competition team any
date after 12/1/2025 you will be subjected to a $50 re-choreography fee per routine.  If you do not attend a
competition you are subjected to a re-choreography penalty and will be liable for additional charges (up to the amount of the team that was impacted entry fees).  If there is an
option of Nationals, it will be addressed at that time.  Again there is no guarantee of a National competition.
Challenging the authority of the coach or person of authority will result in dismissal from the team.  At competition,
it is an expectation that all performers and parents of DCT Company performers support one another as well as other
performers at the competition and will be held to the expectation of great sportsmanship and cleanliness.  Any
competition music or choreography needs to be approved and paid for prior to being used for any outside activity or
performance.  All photogenic awards or additional competition extras must be presented to and approved by Miss.
Katie.  Miss Katie cannot and will not be held accountable for any “social media nonsense” please conduct
yourselves in a respectful manner, as in everyone has a right to the freedom of speech, if you don’t like it don’t read
it.  As a parent of a competition student, I have read and understood all of the above information and I agree to be in conjunction with these rules.
