Every six years California high schools participate in Focus on Learning, an accreditation process sponsored by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the California State Department of Education. In this process all aspects of the school are evaluated and a self-study report is written. This year we are gathering information for our self-study report. Next fall, we will complete the report and prepare for a visit from a team of educators (from outside of Sonoma County) who will validate our report and offer suggestions for school improvement. We have formed committees that will focus on specific aspects of the school program. The committees include faculty, staff members, students, and parents.
Why are we surveying parents?
Each committee must collect information about their area of review in order to write a report that details the strengths and suggestions for improvement within that area. Three surveys have been written: a faculty/staff survey, a student survey, and a parent survey. You are asked to complete this survey so we can obtain information based on your experience as a parent of an El Molino student,
Thank you for your time and effort completing this survey.
