**As of December 1, 2020: In light of the evolving coronavirus pandemic, these terms and conditions have been updated to give you, the guest, more flexibility when planning your adventure. We have reduced our standard deposit amount and delayed the payment of your balance to only 30 days prior to your trip start date.**

Deposit, Payment & Cancellation policy: For our regularly scheduled trips, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Custom and/or private trips require a $2,000 non-refundable deposit to reserve the dates for your group.

Full payment is due 30 days prior to the start of your trip. Reservations made less than 30 days prior to the trip must be paid in full at time of booking. If you have paid in full, but need to cancel more than 30 days prior to the trip, a refund will be given less the $500 deposit. If you cancel your reservation within 30 days of the trip start date, neither the deposit nor the final payment will be refunded for any reason.

Travelers’ Insurance: We ask that every guest purchase trip insurance. Coverage should start when you send in your initial deposit and many insurance policies have benefits for policies purchased within 10 days of making a reservation. Read your policy carefully to make sure you understand what it does and does not cover. You may incur significant financial liability if you do not purchase appropriate insurance. In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, we highly recommend purchasing a policy that covers you in case of cancellation due to COVID-19.

Trip Cancellation: In the extremely rare event that Tundra Travels cancels a trip, you will receive a full refund. In such cases, financial responsibility of Tundra Travels, LLC. will be limited to the amount actually paid to Tundra Travels, and shall not cover any other costs incurred by the participant(s). We reserve the right to refuse or remove any participant, from any trip. Additionally, Tundra Travels is not obliged to refund trip costs in full or in part if weather, geological events or other "acts of god" make completing the trip impossible or dangerous.

Weather Delays: All backcountry trips are at the mercy of the weather and in some cases, flight schedules. Tundra Travels reserves the right to change trip dates and/or details for these or other reasons. Trip prices do not cover any costs incurred as a result of bad weather, geological events, sickness, or other contingencies. Inclement weather, mechanical difficulties and a host of other factors can delay travel; Tundra Travels assumes no financial responsibility for costs due to delays or other events beyond our control. We strongly encourage you to arrange your travel at trips end, to accommodate weather delays.
