Welcome to Cal! The Disabled Students' Program (DSP) would like to invite you to our Fall 2024 New Student Orientation, which is mandatory for all incoming DSP students. The orientation will take place in-person on Wednesday,
August 21, 2024 at 10am at the Valley Life Science Building, Room 2050. Please complete this form to confirm your attendance.
The orientation is designed to help you get off to a great start and will include a wide range of topics beneficial to your success at Cal. In addition, we will host a resource fair, and information breakout sessions with plenty of time for questions.
Lunch will be provided! CART/Real-Time Captioning will be provided throughout the orientation, but please let us know below if there are any additional accommodations or adjustments needed for you to have full access to the day's events.
*At 11am,
during our breakout sessions, we will be offering a session for family, including parents, guardians, advocates, and allies.
Schedule:
9:30am-10am - Check-in and Refreshments
10am-10:45am - Welcome and Main Session
11am-11:30am - Faculty Panel, Student Panel, or Parents and Allies
11:35pm-12:05pm - Faculty Panel or Student Panel
12:15pm-2pm - Lunch, Resource Fair, and Community Engagement
