Website Field Trip Requests

The memorial monument “She Wouldn’t Take Off Her Boots” at LaBauer park is accessible to all park visitors everyday from 7am – 11pm. If you are interested in a guided tour of the monument, please fill out the form below.

Docent-led tours of the monument are available for groups, so please use this form to request either a tour with a school group (6th grade through college/university), a community, or other small group. 

We also strongly encourage the use of a broader curriculum with lesson plans for “She Wouldn’t Take Off Her Boots” created by veteran Holocaust educator and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Teacher Fellow Laurie Schaefer and renowned artist Victoria Milstein, the creator of the “She Wouldn’t Take Off Her Boots” sculpture.
