Plan for Growth is a multi-week, cohort-based small business management and leadership program designed for manufacturers, makers, and creative entrepreneurs in Southwest Brooklyn. It is hosted by nonprofit SBIDC (Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corp). 


🎓Since its inception in 2016, Plan for Growth has graduated over 150 small businesses. Get to know some of our PfG alums on our Instagram @sbidc__

🌟For a reduced fee, businesses have weekly access to expert instructors and consultants in the fields of leadership, strategy, finance, marketing, sales, and management. Participants build their business acumen and entrepreneurial community as they collaborate side-by-side with their peers to create their unique Plan for Growth.


📆 We host two cohorts each year, one in Spring and one in Fall/Winter. All classes take place in-person at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Classes run six to eight consecutive Wednesday mornings, from 9 am to 1 pm.
