Thank you for expressing an interest in joining the Room 17 team! Room 17 is looking for certified teachers to provide 1:1 support or enrichment to K-12 "roomies", we like to call WIN support (What I Need).

Room 17 teachers have the option of providing virtual and/or in person WIN services at libraries closest to YOU. Teachers have access to Room 17 Google Suite tools and supports (virtual manipulatives, google meets, gmail, drive, and our Curriculum Site).

We are also looking for teachers who are interested in facilitating one of our after school programs that take place for 1 hour a week for 5 weeks (you can read more on our site!).

All Room 17 teachers share a passion for math and are interested in engaging roomies with fun tasks (Room 17 Curriculum Resources), in order to eliminate math phobia, build confidence and promote the ability to see math all around us! At times homework support is needed for our roomies, this is balanced with Room 17 activities.

Room 17 teachers have the flexibility of creating their own schedules and will earn $50/hr. for in person services take place at a public library. Virtual service teachers earn $45 an hour with flexibility on location.
