- The market starts at 11am and ends at 4pm.
- Pitches are outside and uncovered
- They're about 3m square (might offer smaller pitches for £25, will confirm closer to the time)
- Pitches cost £35. A £15 nonrefundable deposit is required in advance. (The pitch fee is slightly higher so I can pay for live music/the cost of promotional banners and posters have all gone up and I don't want to reduce the amount we give to charity). If you cancel less than 7 days in advance of the Makers Market you are booked to attend you will need to pay your pitch fee in full.
- You supply all you own tables/chairs/anything else you need to sell your stock.
- Please only apply if you will be selling hand made things, vintage/retro or freshly made local produce or food. If you come to the market and pitch with anything mass produced you will be asked to leave.
I will email you about 4 weeks before the event confirming if you've got a pitch. I am not organised enough to work it all out in advance. I will give more notice about Christmas markets, I'll check you want a pitch in late September,
I'm going to aim to have live music at every event. If you've got any suggestions, please let me know.
If you complete this form terribly you will not be asked to attend. Doing a bad job of describing what you'll be selling makes loads of extra work for me and makes me disgruntled. Please don't do it!
I think all this year's pitch fees (after promotion) will go to The Grumpy Cook Cafe. They help local people in food poverty. We raised over £5000 for different charities last year, which is amazing! You're doing good by having a pitch. :)
