There are eight international programs at National Chengchi University. However, students in these programs seldom have chances to communicate with each other. Moreover, international students are lack of social networking opportunities with local students and alumni. Therefore, we would like to hold an event to gather international students, local students, and alumni together. Sport is a common language, so we would like to hold an event named “International Sports Day.” This event aims to provide participants with opportunities for networking, collaboration, and team building through various sports. Furthermore, we would like to encourage students to get into the habit of taking exercise.
We organize friendly competitions with basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and fun games. Sports teams are formed by combining participants from various programs in order to maximize networking and socializing opportunities. This is a fantastic, joyful, informative, and resourceful networking event for participants. Participants will not only enjoy friendly sport games but also learn about job market information in Taiwan, where to have fun in Taiwan, and where to enhance various hard and soft skills at NCCU and in post-graduate life.
International Sports Day 2022 will take place from 9:00 to 16:00 on December 24, 2022. We choose Christmas Day to hold this event because it will bring international family members together to celebrate this important holiday.
