Weed Warriors is a city-wide program focused on restoring our urban forest through the removal of invasive plant species by environmental stewards. Certified Weed Warriors are community leaders and advocates permitted to remove non-native (NNI) invasive vegetation in parks and lead NNI removal volunteer events without the supervision of park employees.
