Ordering bulk pork (i.e. a half or whole hog) is a great way to secure a large amount of high quality pork at a price lower than buying by the individual cut. Below is a description of how we process orders for bulk pork, and a form for you to fill out if you wish to participate. Ordering process
1) Join the waitlist (complete this form)
2) We contact you to schedule a date and collect deposit ($100 whole hog, $50 half hog)
3) A week before processing, we send you a cut sheet to fill out your customizations (optional!) and schedule approximate delivery
4) Once processed, we contact you to finalize delivery, usually 4-6 days after processing dateĀ 
5) We deliver your pork and collect payment
6) You enjoy amazing pork for a long time

Wait List: Our wait list is usually about a month long.

Price: The price of our bulk pork is $4 per pound live weight, which comes out to about $7.50-8.50 per pound packaged weight.

"Typical" whole hog:
300 lbs live weight
$1200 meat cost including $100 deposit
160 lbs packaged weight, takes up 5.4 cubic feet of freezer space
25% chops / ribs, 40% roasts, 10% belly/bacon 25% sausage

"Typical" half hog:
150 lbs live weight
$600 meat cost including $50 deposit
80 lbs packaged weight, takes up 2.7 cubic feet of freezer space
25% chops / ribs, 40% roasts, 10% belly/bacon 25% sausage

Customization: You get to decide how you want it cut. Unfortunately you cannot get the whole pig made into bacon, but there are several choices you can make - how much sausage and what flavors of sausage, whether you want pork belly, sliced uncured, or sliced cured bacon, how you want the organs (if you want them), whether you want a loin roast, bone-in pork chops, or boneless pork chops, and many other options. Some options do incur additional fees from the processor - for example, cured bacon will incur an additional fee. All these fees are specified on the cut sheet so you can make informed decisions on your customizations. We also send you the cut sheet "pre-filled" with our recommendations, so it is a fun and easy process.
