2026 Congressional Art Competition
Fill out this form to register for the TX-03 2026 Congressional Art Competition. 

Important Dates:
3/16/26 Registration window closes
3/23/26 Framed artwork is due in our office by 5pm (McKinney Office: 4500 Eldorado Parkway Suite 3500, McKinney TX, M-F 9am to 5pm, Greenville Office: 2410 Lee Street, Suite 202, Greenville TX, by appointment)
3/31/26 Gallery opens for viewing at Blue House Too (in Watters Creek, Allen TX)
4/02/26 Award reception at Blue House Too at 6:30pm (artwork will remain at the gallery for display until 4/12/26)

Artwork Pick-up:
For students who do not place in the top 4 and do not want to participate in the summer traveling show, artwork may be picked up at Blue House Too on 4/12/26 or in our McKinney office M-F 9am to 5pm beginning 4/14/26.

Prizes:
  • First Place - Art will hang in Cannon Tunnel in the Capitol in DC for 1 year, their name will be added to the official Congressional Record.  Additionally, the winner of this competition will be invited to the winner's reception in Washington DC during Summer 2026. In years past, Southwest Airlines has provided the winner with 2 airline tickets to attend the event. Confirmation of this prize will be announced by February. 
  • Second Place - Will hang in the Rep. Self's DC office for 1 year
  • Third Place - Will hang in Rep. Self's McKinney office for 1 year
  • Fourth Place - Will hang in Rep. Self's Greenville office for 1 year
  • Places 5-25 - Will be invited to the traveling art show which will be featured in 3 different venues for 3 months during Summer 2026
