Topic and Description:

Estate Planning After the New Tax Act:
What Small Business Owners Need To Know

Jeffrey Williamson, esq., of J.L. Williamson Law Group, LLC

Join us this month for a content-rich presentation on the most up-to-date information on estate planning for small business owners from our ever-popular and highly informative speaker, Jeffrey Williamson of the J.L. Williamson Law Group. "I will explain why the federal estate tax is no longer the primary driver for estate planning. The new primary concern for most business owners is, or should be, asset protection. I will discuss the optimum planning vehicles for this new legal environment. I will also cover recent changes by the Georgia legislature to the laws governing durable financial powers of attorney. Powers of attorney are an essential part of any estate plan, which is why every business owner should be aware of these recent changes."
