Syracuse FSC Instructor Application 2021-22
All Applicants Must Hold current registration with US Figure Skating:

-proof of minimum $1M liability insurance naming the Syracuse FSC as Additional Insured (please provide copy)
-proof of minimum $1M liability insurance naming the Home Ice 1 LLC as Additional Insured (please provide copy)
        -proof of minimum $1M liability insurance naming the Lysander Youth Hockey DBA Three Rivers Athletic Complex  as Additional Insured (please provide copy)
-current  USFSA membership
-US Figure Skating coaches registration (background check)
-Continuing Education Requirements (CER) certificate
        -photo ID may be requested
 
*Please provide copies of 3 insurance certificates to Sk8bville@hotmail.com
Other documentation will be verified by club officers via US Figure Skating Coach Compliance and there is no need to provide copies unless requested.  

Coaches will be notified by email when they are cleared to skate with Syracuse FSC.  

Learn To Skate Instructors must have a Learn To Skate USA membership and certification.   Instructors  over age 18 are compensated for group lessons at the hourly rate of $30.00 per hour.

All Learn to Skate Figure Skating Instructors age 16 and 17 will be paid at $20.00/hour and must have passed the Juvenile Freeskate test. An exception will be made for any 16 or 17 year old who has passed at least two of the following tests: USFS Senior Moves, USFS Senior Freeskate, USFS Gold Dance.
