FAST TRACK: On the NSW Central Coast, Mac Durridge has been asked by Sophie, his on-again, currently off-again girlfriend, to look into the disappearance of her friend, Central Coast Network News reporter Linda Carmody. Linda has been on extended paid leave from CCNN while she runs down a news story. She regularly disappears for weeks at a time, investigating this story. This time, though, she missed a mutual friend’s hen party with no excuse. Very out of character.
DO NOT PASS GO: In Sydney, Nick Harding has been engaged to track down financial reporter Alex Bainbridge. Alex’s boss thinks he’s vacationing in Bali. Alex’s colleagues thought he was working on “something big”, but he hasn’t been seen or heard for over a week—strange behaviour for the gregarious Alex.    
 Mac and Nick’s cases overlap in unexpected ways and unexpected places, culminating in a furious climax that will shake Australian politics to its core.  
Below, you will have the option of signing up for either or both ARCs to review. It’s your choice. You can pick one, then come back and pick the other. All these options are okay as long as reviews are posted by July 19th.
And just a heads up, before you proceed, there is swearing. A fuck-tonne of swearing by some of the characters. And non-gratuitous violence. When a fight is necessary, it happens. Both protagonists are middle-aged men in questionable shape, so they prefer to talk their way out of trouble. Sometimes that’s not possible.  If you proceed with these ARCs, you will face fisticuffs and foul language. Don’t complain. You’ve been warned. *

Please read and share an honest review of the book or books by July 19th.  Reviews can be shared on any of your social media channels, Goodreads, Storygraph, etc.  There is no rating requirement - reviews should be your honest opinion.   I may share/repost reviews on my social media, newsletter, etc., in the weeks leading up to and during the launch. *
