Hilliard Youth Chorus has been open to grades 3-6 only in prior years. Due to our continued growth, we are excited to announce that we're planning the addition of a 2nd choir for grades 6-8* under the direction of Cori Brennen. Doing so opens up the opportunity for us to include singers in grades 7 and 8 who also want to have fun, make new friends, and sing beautiful music. We need 10+ singers to move forward for this upcoming fall/holiday 2018 session.
There are no auditions, and no prior singing experience is necessary. (*Boys must have unchanged voices.) Our goal is to help kids develop good singing technique, expose them to new songs and musical styles, and empower them to find their voices through music!
PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW IF BOTH INTERESTED AND AVAILABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES FOR THIS UPCOMING FALL SESSION! **Registration will close on October 14th. A separate pre-registration form is required for each individual singer in grades 7 & 8. There is a different form for singers in grade 6.**
COST is $50 PER CHILD. Checks, payable to Hilliard Arts Council, will be collected at the first rehearsal. (Note: We are designing a t-shirt for choir participants that will be on sale later in the session, at minimal additional cost, i.e. $10 or less. T-shirt purchase is optional, but recommended.)
