Would you like to be a docent on our upcoming Farm Tours?

What is required?

A smile and appreciation for local food.

A willingness to help a farm owner provide information to Farm Tour visitors.

Availability on June 22 from 1:00-5:30 p.m. to docent at a designated farm.

Fine Details:
*Docents may also help with directing parking and greeting visitors, as well as assisting with walking tours. Each farm will have its own individual needs.

*We have 15 farms participating across the region. We will do our best to place you in the county and farm of your preference. We will be placing folks on farms as the sign up forms come in.

*We will be hosting a conference call for all of our Docents closer to the tour date.

Most farms are open from 1:30-5:30 on Tour day, with Docent arrival at 1:00. Serenity Knoll in Jonesborough will be opening early and staying late to make sure everyone is fed. We have 4 Docent slots open with Serenity Knoll, 2 for the early shift and 2 for the evening shift. If this is something you would be interested in doing, please choose a time.
