As with previous AlaveteliCons, the event will bring together FOI activists and campaigners from across the world and will be a place for exchanging ideas about running and improving FOI platforms. Additionally, this time we’ll also have a stronger focus on building cross-border collaborations on FOI-based investigations and campaigns (specifically across Europe), so we're looking for interested journalists to attend as well.
We hope AlaveteliCon will be a catalyst for future partnerships that will make the right to know even stronger and more used around the world.
As spaces at AlaveteliCon are limited, we're asking those wishing to come to fill out the below application form to tell us what unique perspective they can bring that's relevant to the above conference theme.
Please submit your application by 2nd September.
We'll let you know if you've been allocated a place by Friday 6th September at the latest. However, we will endeavour to reply to you sooner than this.
AlaveteliCon is free to attend, but delegates who apply to attend will be required to arrange their own travel, accommodation and costs in Oslo. We do not have travel funds available to help with travel costs.
