Michael Wyas Scholarship Application
The Michael Wyas Scholarship is available to the dependent children, adopted children, grandchildren or step grandchildren of a Master Mason who is (or was at the time of his death) a member in good standing of Vegas Lodge 32.

Scholarships funds are to be used in the pursuit of:
-Certificates from Trade/Technical Schools
-Associate Degrees
-Bachelor degrees

The Scholarship is awarded as follows;
-For a trade/technical school certificate: $500 per session of training, renewable for up to four sessions.
-For an Associate’s Degree program; $500 per semester ($1000 per academic year), renewable for up to four semesters.
-For a Bachelor’s Degree program; with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, $750 per semester ($1500 per academic year), renewable for up to eight semesters.
-For a Bachelor’s Degree program; with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6, $1000 per semester ($2000 per academic year), renewable for up to eight semesters.


REQUIREMENTS:
-Applicant has qualifying Masonic relationship as stipulated above.
-Must be a registered, full time student at a regionally accredited college or university within the United States or enrolled in a certificate program at an accredited trade/technical school.
-Applicant must be a graduate of a Nevada High School between the ages of 16 to 28 years of age
-College scholarship applicants must have/maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Trade/technical scholarship applicants must demonstrate progress toward certification. School transcripts shall be provided each semester for consideration of further scholarship award.
-Total of all academic scholarship awards received by applicant not to exceed eight semesters.
