2017 Amphibian Identification and Survey Training Registration
*** BOTH CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY FULL! PLEASE CONTACT VIKKI AT vikki@whatfrogs.org IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE PLACED ON THE WAIT LIST. THANK YOU.***

Thank you for your interest in Whatcom County Amphibian Monitoring Program (WCAMP)! There is a high demand for these trainings and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The free training will include a classroom introduction, during which you will learn how to identify the egg masses and adult forms of amphibian species in the lowlands of Whatcom County. You will also get some experience in the field, where you will learn how to survey for amphibians and their egg masses. Both trainings will present the same information, but the survey focus is a bit different with each.

We ask that attendees contribute at least 12 hours of volunteer work with the program this monitoring season (February-May). Foray dates will be announced soon. Note that this year, there will be no Lummi Island training day; hands-on training will be available during the forays on the island.

If you have any questions, please contact Vikki Jackson at vikki@whatfrogs.org.

Note: When you register, you will be added to our email list so you can receive notifications and updates from WCAMP (each email will give you an option to opt out of future emails).
