Teaching Fellows Institute Class of 2018 Application
Teachers having a minimum of three years of full time teaching experience at the close of the 2017-2018 academic year are eligible to self nominate with endorsement of an administrator. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding competency in the classroom and be regarded highly by colleagues, students and parents. Applicants should demonstrate leadership in his/her schools and have shown a commitment to the teaching profession and the improvement of teaching and learning.
To Apply
1. Fill out the information application
2. Answer the short answer and one of the two essay questions
3. Ask your principal/school head to submit a Confidential Principal Recommendation Form
4. Application due on February 21, 2018 and notification will be sent on or around April 1, 2018
2018 Teaching Fellows Institute Summer Symposium
The 2018 Teaching Fellows Institute will be held on July 30 - August 2, 2018 in Charlotte, NC at the Whitehead Manor. Accepted teachers will be engaged, honored and inspired with a program on leadership, a program on an educational topic of current note and engage in collaboration with like minded professionals. Applications are due on February 21, 2018.
