It is with great pleasure that we extend an invitation for you to participate in our Black History Initiative. The summit will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. through the Zoom technology platform. The keynote speaker will be Councilman Aaron Rouse. This black history initiative serves as an opportunity to enlighten and prepare all participants with resources to apply the lived experience of others to their personal reflection and understanding. Participants will interact with other participants to discuss historical topics and community advancements. Additionally, we will provide our parents, educators, and community members with roundtable sessions focused on supporting our students and local communities.
