The goal of the District Council is to build trust, accountability and transparency between the community and the police. To do so, we need to hear from you. Please fill out the short form below. All questions are optional. Responses will be checked on the last day of each month and will be incorporated into the District Council monthly meeting minutes.

Every fall, each Police District hosts a series of conversations to gather community input for the following years priorities. Below are the priorities established for the 001 District in 2026.
1) Quality of Life, Loop: defined as disorderly conduct, loud music and harassment complaints, especially in areas with high pedestrian traffic
2) Quality of Life, Roosevelt Corridor: defined as disorderly conduct, loud music and harassment complaints, mostly related to the transit hub and congestion
3) Motor Vehicle Theft, 30th sector:  this is the area south of Roosevelt
