Board MEMBER Boot Camp Interest Form
Board Member Boot Camp is designed to help clarify the roles and responsibilities of the Board and the executive director. At the conclusion of this training attendees will leave having a better understanding of their roles, tasks and what is and isn’t their responsibility. In addition, attendees will also be able to identify strategies to increase board member engagement. This training is ideal for executive directors and their board members.

Please submit all requests by March 25th

This 2.5 hour training will be $10 per person for Idaho Nonprofit Center Members. $25 Per Person for nonmembers

Whose job is it anyway?
–– Understanding the role of the executive director (and the staff), the difference between a board member, the board and the officers of the board
–– The importance of on boarding new board members & building the right board culture

Fundraising & development
–– Board and staff responsibilities for fundraising and how each supports the other
Divide & conquer
–– The importance of bylaws, policy manuals and committees

What are we supposed to be doing anyway?
–– Know your role so you can be confident and ready to participate as an active and engaged board member in all aspects of the organization


In order to make this training available in your community, we need at least four (4) organizations to commit to have their board to this 2.5 hour training. Once there are four organizations interested in the same location, we will move forward with the registration process.
