Georgian Bay Youth Climate Collective
The Georgian Bay Youth Climate Collective is a youth-led grassroots volunteer group that operates out of Parry Sound, Ontario. Started in February 2022, the GBYCC has been meeting twice a month to come up with, and lead on, climate action initiatives in our community. Our goal is to give voices to local youth and bring awareness to issues related to climate change and environmental discrimination. We also meet to discuss local issues and generate change in our community. So far we have been working in collaboration with the Georgian Bay Biosphere and the Gibson Gallery to work on a climate mural.
