Ensemble-in-Residence Application
Please complete this form to apply to be the Featured Performer(s) at the Women Composers Festival of Hartford, or associated concert. Applications are accepted year-round, but must be received by January 1 to be considered for the following year. WCFH presents music by composers who are cisgender women/femme and those who identify significantly with those terms.

The selected Ensemble-in-Residence will be contracted to perform a concert including a piece written for them by the Composer-in-Residence, pieces selected from the International Score Call, and additional pieces of the ensemble's choosing. The selected Ensemble-in-Residence also participates in an open rehearsal/reading of works by student composers.

The featured performer(s) typically present a reading session where works by student composers are workshopped. Please list any relevant past experience that qualifies you for these activities (i.e. talks you have given, masterclasses or workshops you have led, outreach activities you have participated in, etc.). *
Our Performer residencies typically last 2-3 days. Please include a link to a proposed budget for your residency, including an itemized list of performance/workshop fees, travel expenses, and any other costs associated with your proposed residency. *
