An Investigation of behaviour problems, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) symptoms and gastrointestinal symptoms in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

The aim of the study is to examine how symptoms of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) can co-occur in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We are interested in hearing from parents of children with ASD, who are between the ages of 6 to 18 years. We are interested in understanding the relationship between AD/HD symptoms and gastrointestinal symptoms and behaviour problems . Even if your child does not present with AD/HD symptoms, you are still invited to take part as your information can tell us a lot about why these symptoms present in some children and not in others. If you wish to participate in this study, you are asked to complete the following questionnaire online.

Your responses to the online questionnaire are completely confidential. Your responses will never be shared. Your child scores will not be reported individually. Overall results from the study will be reported for research purposes only. I am under the direct supervision of my academic supervisor Dr. Geraldine Leader. We aim to publish the findings of this research in an academic journal. If you leave your email details I will be happy to email the article to you.
