Hult Prize 2018 Colombia Application
Welcome to Hult Prize Colombia 2018!

Who can compete?
Teams should be 3-4 students and all team members must be from the same university. Team members can be undergraduates, graduate students or PhD students from any subject area. Alumni and faculty are not allowed to be official team members. By applying, you confirm that your team meets the requirements to compete.

Hult Prize Colombia reserves the right to disqualify teams that don't meet the requirements or violate rules and ethic behaviors during the competition.


What is the timeline?

Today:

April 15h, 2018:
Deadline to apply for a spot to present your idea to a panel of judges on May 1st.

April 18th, 2018:
List of teams selected to compete in Hult Prize Colombia 2018 will be released. Team must confirm their participation by April 22th or their spot will be given to a new team.

May 1st, 2018:
Teams will present their idea for a social business based on the Energy Study to a panel of judges in Bogota. Presentations will be in English as there are international judges in all rounds of competition. All team members must be present, however not all team members need to speak in the presentation. Teams will have 6 minutes to present, followed by 4 minutes of questions from the judge panel. One team will be selected to advance to the Hult Prize Accelerator in the UK.

July-August 2017:
Global Finalists attend Accelerator at the Ashridge Castle in the UK. Travel expenses are paid by the Hult Prize Foundation. Six finalists will be selected for the final in NYC.

September 2017:
Global Finalists pitch their idea at the Hult Prize Global Finals at the United Nations with President Clinton. One team wins $1,000,000 USD as seed funding for their social business.
