In addition to the opportunity to volunteer at the Idaho Homelessness Impact, IDHI also has a select board of trusted leaders who have added responsibility and make a great difference in the function of our foundation. The leaders on this board will communicate with eachother inbetween events to schedule meetings, plan buisnesses appearances at our events, collaborate on funding, have phone calls with buisnesses, schedule check ups on our homeless population, and help ensure that the event planning runs smoothly. They also have added benefits such as media exposure, chances to meet with Idahos leadership and put their name out into the world, and special recognition at the end of the year. These are an every important group of people, we could not do it without them!

The Idaho Homelessness Impact (IDHI) needs volunteers who are strong willed and able to help those who need it most. However our mission is not only to prioritize the lives of those struggling with homelessness, we also focus on the mental health and wellbeing of all of our volunteers. If at any point you can not longer volunteer with us, there will be no questions asked. If you reach out in need of mental health support we can provide you information about some of our mental health partners. By signing up to be a volunteer you agree that it is not your duty to volunteer, you are doing it to make others happy and to be happy yourself. Societal pressures to "do good" at the cost of your own mental health should never be followed. By signing up to be a volunteer you agree to put the needs of your mental health and survival over the needs of the organization. IDHI is creating a better space for all of Idaho, including you.
