Register for Mar 24, 2026 Virtual CCCoP Meeting

Please join us for a virtual gathering of the Caribbean Conservation Community of Practice on March 24 at 1 pm (EST). During this 1.5-hour webinar you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on two new data products in the U.S. Caribbean:

  1. The Southeast Conservation Adaptation Strategy recently released it’s 2025 Southeast Conservation Blueprint update, which includes new data and indicators in the U.S. Caribbean as well as an improved corridors analysis. These improvements were largely developed in response to feedback given at last year’s in-person CCCoP meeting on St. Thomas. Participants will have an opportunity to provide additional comments and feedback and get a brief overview of the newest improvements.
  2. During this portion of the CCCoP meeting, the research team for the USGS SE-CASC–funded project, “Predicting Interactions Between Demographic Change, Climate Adaptation, and Conservation Actions Across the U.S. Caribbean,” will briefly highlight recent findings. Most of the session will focus on a facilitated discussion of how policy shapes land-use outcomes. The goal is to develop a shared understanding of the links—and gaps—among urban growth incentives, climate adaptation, and conservation strategies.
