The OTES PTA is committed to ensuring that all students can participate in our After-School Enrichment Activities. In order to accomplish this goal, we are happy to be able to offer scholarships to support students who need financial assistance to participate in after-school enrichment activities.
Our funds are limited, so we ask that you apply only if you have a significant financial need and your child would otherwise be unable to participate in the enrichment activity.
Scholarships are subject to the following eligibility conditions and restrictions:
-Only enrichment activities held at OTES are eligible.
-A student may receive no more than one
scholarship per semester and two scholarships per school year, pending
availability of funds. Parents/guardians must apply separately for each
semester’s activity.
-If the PTA is paying 50% of the program cost, participating parents/guardians are responsible for the remaining 50 percent (half) of the tuition for the enrichment activity.
-The student must attend the enrichment activity regularly. Failure to do so will result in the student being ineligible for future scholarships.
-To be considered for a scholarship, parents/guardians must complete an Application Form and attest to a financial need.
All personal information submitted (including the fact that a particular student is requesting or receiving scholarship aid) is confidential, except as necessary to pay the scholarship and report aggregate information to the PTA.
In the event that there are more applicants than available funds, the PTA Executive Board reserves the right to award scholarships based on a child’s lack of prior experience in the activity for which financial assistance is requested; to award a partial scholarship, and/or to award scholarships via a lottery.

Q: How do I receive financial aid?
A: The PTA will request your paid receipt and then reimburse you for the scholarship amount by mailing you a check. Q: How do I know if I have received a scholarship?
