Please note that failure to submit the correct address will lead to failure in delivery of your award. We are unable to send replacement awards / medals for wrong or incomplete addresses provided to us. Please follow the exact format as given. As a useful reference, use the address from your utility bill to ensure that all details are included. Also, we DO NOT ACCEPT P.O. Box delivery addresses. It must be a physical address.

Question: When am I going to receive my certificate, medal, or award?
Answer:  We will post a notice on our website to inform winners as soon as the awards are ready to be shipped.
SHIPMENT METHOD:  You can choose to have your medals / awards to be sent by regular mail with no tracking offered. Items will be mailed out in around late August to September 2023. Delivery time may take between 2 to 6 weeks (depending on efficiency of the postal service of the recipient's country) due to the pandemic. North American Virtuoso International Music Competition will post a notice on our website and our Facebook page to inform winners as soon as the awards have been shipped. Regular mail costs $28.50 US (for one medal). For combined shipment of multiple medals, please check our shipment site for detailed pricing.

Difference between Regular Mail and Courier Service
We offer 2 mailing options for our medals to our winners.

(1) Regular mail -
Pro: The most economical way for delivery
Con: No tracking number provided - once it is sent, it is out of our hands. Item may take between 2 to 6 weeks to arrive. There is a chance that the item may be lost or stolen in transit. North American Virtuoso International Music Competition will not assume responsibility for items lost or stolen in the mail sent via regular mail.

Kindly make sure that the address you provided is 100% accurate.

If you will be planning to move, please let us know. And we can hold the shipment until you have a finalized address.

(2) Courrier service - e.g. DHL, Purolator, FEDEX
Pro: Fast and reliable delivery with tracking number so you can follow where the item is. Shipment takes about a few days for item to arrive. Item is safe and will not be lost
Con: Costs more than regular mail. However, we work with courier agencies to ensure the lowest rates for shipment.

If you select courier service, we will send you a special PayPal link for payment of courier fees.
Kindly make sure that the address you provided is 100% accurate.  

COURIER SERVICES: Including services from courier companies such as FEDEX, PUROLATOR, DHL.  Should winners prefer to receive delivery by courier services with tracking number, winners are required to pay the mailing fees. The estimated mailing postage fees may range from around $59 USD and up) depending entirely upon weight of award and recipient's country.  Courier shipment fees will not be covered by North American Virtuoso International Music Competition. Should you wish to receive your award via courier services, please check "By Courier Service" in the box below, and we will contact you for details. You do not need to pay any shipment fees yet if you choose courier delivery service with tracking number. We will contact you once we are ready to ship the medals.

Combined Shipment - To help you save on shipping costs, you can opt for combined shipment of multiple medals. List names of winners to have medals shipped to the same address: Please only fill in once the list of all winners to have medals shipped together. Do not fill in combined shipment on multiple forms. Example: (Mary Smith - violin - 1 Gold, John Smith - piano -  1 Silver, Peter Smith  - trumpet - 1 Bronze)

FOR TEACHER'S CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION
Please indicate if you wish to have a certificate of recognition sent to your teacher. If so, please indicate your teacher's full name and email to send the certificate. Teacher certificates will be given only to actual teachers who teach and support their student(s) for the competition. Teacher's certificates will not be awarded under the name of a winner who prepares himself / herself for the competition.  Hence,  winners, please do not put your name as teacher.
