Docent Program Application
Thank you for your interest in the Docent Program at Tanganyika! Docents are long-term volunteers that are able to help with a wide variety of projects and events. Opportunities for Docents include learning to handle the Park's Education Animals, assisting with camps, classes, and birthday parties, leading Guided Tours, helping at Animal Encounters, and Special Events.

Once we receive your application, a member of our Education Team will be contacting you to set up an interview to get to know you a little better and make sure the Docent Program is the best fit for you!

Interview Availability
The second step in the Docent Application process is a short interview with a member of our Education Team. An in-person interview is preferable, but we will conduct phone interviews if your schedule will not allow an in-person interview.

The interview should take no more than 15-20 minutes and is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and for you to ask any questions you have about the Docent Program. We will lay out all expectations during the interview and make sure our Docent program is the right fit for you!

Once we receive your application, we'll contact you via email to set up a time and date for your interview!
