Have you worked with us before? If so, when and where? *
Do you speak any Spanish? Describe proficiency. *
If you speak any other languages besides English, please list.
If there are particular tasks you would like (or not like) to help with, please describe.
Are you willing/ able to take overnight shifts at one of our houses (10pm-7am)? Night volunteers usually can get a good night of sleep at our houses, but are present in case of an emergency. *
Are you willing/ able to transport refugees to the bus station and airport? This requires use of your own vehicle. *
Have you previously had a confirmed case of COVID-19? If so, when? *
Have you been vaccinated for COVID-19? If so, provide dates. *
Are you generally in good health? Please identify any health restrictions or physical limitations, including chronic conditions that would place you at higher risk for serious COVID (e.g. diabetes, hypertension). *
We will require a background check for all new volunteers. This is something we can help you obtain for a fee ($15), or you can provide proof of background clearance from a current employer or volunteer supervisor. *
All individuals who offer to volunteer in any of Annunciation House’s hospitality centers must do so with the complete awareness that they could be exposed to COVID. Annunciation House takes precautions to protect volunteers and refugees, but we cannot guarantee that volunteers will not be exposed to COVID and could possibly contract COVID. *
